S E W U E S E
I N F O R M A T I O N
From shy girl to touring stages across the world, S E W U E S E is the London kid who used singing, performing, song-writing and production to 'cut through the noise'. And there was a lot of noise.
Those trials inspired ‘Gone Too Far (Nevermind)’ written with Linden Jay (Born Dirty / LionBabe) earning airplay from Diplo & Friends, and BBC 1/Xtra and a feature on Confessionals debut single ‘Light Up’. The latter all shine on Skrillex-approved OWLSA release ‘FREEEK’ by Alex Metric, with Sewuese’s distinct vocals at the front and centre.
Sewuese since wrote and recorded an advert for US clothing brand Splendid to the cool-as visuals cut but the inimitable Heather Sommerfield of Mario Sorenti / Rihanna CK Jeans fame.
As a solo artist, Sewuese has an authentic brand of Indie-RnB that infuses classic pop, regal and heavy rhythm and blues, led by a crystalline vocal, skilfully combined to make you dance and cry: An arresting performer, RnB superstar Usher was moved to tears by Sewuese’s performance telling her you were “living the song”.
Having performed stages for the likes of Chanel, Google, ITV and Pandora, Sewuese is now crafting new music with a cream of London musicians while completing her band residency at the exclusive Annabels in Mayfair.
